Indoor/Outdoor Venue

Bangor Farm is the perfect venue for both indoor and outdoor weddings. Inside the Deer Shed, The Barn room offers an elegant, rustic setting seating up to 200. The Gallery room has plenty of space for up to 120 guests to dine in style or set up with seating for 120 guest for an indoor ceremony. The Auction Room comfortably accommodates up to 200 guests for speeches and presentations with sound equipment, microphones and projector. The Auction Room is also a perfect indoor ceremony area capable of seating 200 guests.

Step outside into the fresh Canterbury air, surrounded by the Oak trees and a backdrop of the Southern Alps. We also offer two marquee sites, one located on the Wedding Lawn and another near The Ponds, with plenty of space for the guests to enjoy the unique experience the surrounding landscape and oak trees provide.

The beautiful oak trees and vast lawns provide a magical space for you to exchange vows and beautiful backdrop for your wedding photographs. Throughout the grounds you will find many special and unique settings for your perfect wedding photographs.

VENUE HIRE

  • The venue is available on the day from 9.00am till 12.00am

  • All guests to be off site at 11.30pm

  • If there is no function on the day before then you will be welcome to set up by arrangement

CATERING

  • The Deer Shed allows you the flexibility to arrange your own registered Caterers, we have Caterers we work with and can highly recommend.

BEVERAGES 

  • We love to have the opportunity to allow you the choices of your own bar.

  • We understand wines and beverages to be a personal choice. We do not charge any fees or corkage.

WEDDING PLANNING

  • At Bangor Farm we understand how exciting your wedding is and how important it is for your day to be perfect. We can help you with the basics, and point you in the direction of fantastic Wedding planners for the not so basic.

  • Darfield has a huge array of accomodation from the Hotel & Motel to Air B&B.
